Administrative Assistant II


POSITION: Administrative Assistant II (Cash Clerk III)
OFFICE : Office of the Chief of Services for Administration (OCSA)
DIVISION: Cash Unit

SALARY : SG-8/Php13,833.00
PERA : P500.00
ACA : P1, 500.00

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Assists Cashier positions in the counting, verifying and classifying money of various dominations;
• Determines various denominations of currency notes required for payroll distribution;
• Assists in balancing accounts;
• Compiles official documents of the division;
• Handles filling system of the division;
• Provides secretarial work to the Head of the unit;
• Records all incoming and outgoing documents; and
• Provides all other types of clerical work
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:
Education : Completion of two-year studies in college or High School Graduate with relevant vocational/trade course
Experience : 1 year relevant experience
Training : 4 hours relevant training
Eligibility : Career Service (Sub-professional)/First Level Eligibility

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Computer literate
• Good moral character and work ethics
• Good interpersonal relationship and work attitude

• Statement of Duties and Responsibilities for the position held indicating the specified period covered (mm-dd-yy to mm-dd-yy);

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Assists the Chief TESD Specialist in directing, supervising and coordinating the operation and activities of the Division;
• Recommends to the Chief systems and procedures to ensure efficient and effective program implementation;
• Coordinates the preparation of periodic reports;
• Develops and maintains TESD database;
• Represents the agency in various national and sub-national TESDS systems evaluation, research and statistical processes; and
• Performs other related functions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS OF THE HIREE ARE:
Education : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job
Experience : 3 years relevant experience
Training : 16 hours relevant training
Eligibility : Career Service Professional/ Second Level Eligibility

THE HIREE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Assists the Deputy Director General (DDG) in the discharge of the day-to-day functions of overseeing the operations of their Office and in providing overall supervision to the office and providing overall supervision to the immediate staff;
• Screens and reviews all memoranda, office orders and other forms of written correspondence and communication for action/ signature of the DDG;
• Provides the data and other information needed by the DDG with respect to his/her official duties and assignments;
• Drafts memoranda, Terms of Reference (TOR), Notices, Minutes of Meeting, Office Orders and other forms of written correspondence and communications as maybe assigned by the DDG;
• Monitors and coordinate the programs and activities of the office with other TESDA operating units, government agencies and other non-government organizations; and
• Performs other related functions
